Have you seen them at the grocery store? The frosting covered round cookies in the plastic containers with sprinkles. The frosting color changes depending on the season. Have you eaten one? I have, they are soft and delicious and pretty. Well, I always find that homemade cookies are better than store bought ones, so when I saw this recipe over at Two Peas & Their Pod I had to try it. They were delicious and make great gifts. I’m not posting the recipe here as I didn’t make any changes when I made them. So if you want to try it out hop on over to their site for the recipe. Lofthouse Style Soft Sugar Cookies
I made these cookies as gifts for Valentine’s day (I know that was a month ago…) for Ian and Jensen’s daycare teachers.
- Cookie Dough after being in the fridge for a couple of hours.
- Baked and unfrosted cookies
- Pink frosting for Valentine’s Day
- Cookies ready to be wrapped and gifted.
I made some other heart shaped food for us to eat as well.

- Pink Pancakes
- Yum 🙂
